Jennifer Corday is an award-winning singer/songwriter/guitarist and cellist with incredible charisma!

She has shared stages with Melissa Etheridge, Sarah McLaughlin, Joan Jett, Pat Benatar, and many more. She is a prolific songwriter and seasoned musician with star quality and charisma, presenting live shows that leave people wanting more. Whether singing her own material, or busting out cover tunes in her own unique way, you will get hooked. Corday has built a large and loyal following in Southern California performing hundreds of shows a year at local bars and venues.

Corday has over five award-winning studio albums and 20 awards under her belt, including Best Female Acoustic Act, and Best Live Band at the OC Music Awards. She's also performed for the troops overseas in Bosnia, Kosovo, and Macedonia.

Corday’s music and videos have been awarded by LA Weekly, GLAMA Awards, and LA Music Awards. She's been a Battle of the Band Finalist for KISS FM and STAR Radio. In addition to her Corday career, she created the Melissa Etheridge Experience and the Sheryl Crow Show—two top-notch tribute acts that perform at large concert venues and casinos across the nation.

Corday’s festival resume speaks volumes. In addition to her yearly performances at The Dinah Shore Weekend, Corday has performed at Womenfest in Key West, Women’s Week in P-Town, and at Pride Festivals across the nation. She has also performed on Olivia Cruises, The Melissa Etheridge Cruise, Country Cruising, and many more including a river cruise down the Danube—expanding her fanbase around the world.

Corday’s anthemic sexy drinking song "Second Shot" (featured on You Can't Change My DNA) is the title track of the series, starring Fortune Feimster and Jill Bennett, and can be heard in the movie At Your Own Risk that was played at the 2018 WOMEN IN ACTION Film Festival Opening Night.

Her video "Daffodil Shotguns" showed at the Awareness Film Festival in Los Angeles, spawning loyal followers against gun violence.

Teaming with photographers and filmmakers Jane Clark, Jen Rosenstein, and Michelle Ehlen, Corday has furthered her career with stunning videos and imagery. Her “Dragonfire” video received rave reviews at film fests across the nation. "Tear Into You" was shot and edited by Jen Rosenstein and won Best Music Video at the Cynema Systers Film Fest. "Kaleidoscope," shot DIY style while touring in Europe, is a fan fav and celebrates the beauty of the broken.

Corday was inspired to record Helen Reddy's anthemic feminist hit song "I Am Woman" after performing it live at a Women's March down Main Street in Seal Beach, CA. "It got such a great response," explains Corday, "and it was super cool to see really young girls diggin' it too. I hope the song underlines their belief in themselves and the reminder that they can indeed do anything." The song was released right after the inauguration of the first female Vice President, Kamala Harris, which is especially sweet timing. "It's so exciting to finally have a woman in the White House," beams Corday, "and I hope this song can be turned up and enjoyed even more, as a reflection of the time." The production was intense, and Corday tracked most of it at her home studio. Besides singing the vocals, she added four tracks of acoustic guitar, twelve tracks of live cello, and invited nine or her fellow singer-songwriter friends to sing on the recording. "It was quite a production," she explains. "I worked with my producer Matt Thorne in Burbank through Zoom. He is just awesome and adds all the other instrumentation." As a final touch, Corday thought of inviting several of her singer-songwriter friends to participate in the recording by adding their vocal to the final chorus. "It's so important to collaborate, especially during these dark times of isolation during the pandemic," Corday asserts, "and I am so grateful they all agreed to participate." Nine women ended up singing from their home towns and home studios, and sent in files for Corday to add to the mix. It was actually a lot of work," Corday laughs, "and my producer yelled at me for adding so many more vocal tracks!" But it was worth it. "I think it sounds amazing. It gives me chills to hear that huge group of women singing together. It's such an empowering song." Corday remembers her mother listening to Helen Reddy, and followed her work ever since. "It is tragic that she passed in 2020, but I am glad to be keeping her music alive. I hope new generations of listeners will be turned on to the song when they discover my interpretation of it."
